What does the error correction level do?
It adds redundancy so a partially covered or damaged code still scans: L tolerates ~7% damage, M ~15%, Q ~25%, H ~30%. Higher levels make the code denser, so M is the usual sweet spot.
How does the Wi-Fi QR code work?
It encodes network name, password and security type in the standard WIFI: format. When someone scans it with a phone camera, the phone offers to join the network — no typing needed. The credentials are encoded locally and never uploaded.
