Yes. iPhones (iOS 11 and later) and Android phones (Android 10 and later) read Wi-Fi QR codes directly in the camera app. Older Android phones can use Google Lens.
Is it safe to enter my Wi-Fi password here?
The QR code and the sign are created in your browser. Your network name and password are not uploaded, stored or logged. Anyone who can scan the printed sign can join your network, so use a guest network for visitors if your router offers one.
What happens if I change my Wi-Fi password?
The printed code stops working, because the password is stored inside it. Create and print a new sign with the new password.
Where should I put a Wi-Fi sign?
